Franklin, Wisconsin is a picturesque community about 10 miles south of downtown Milwaukee, in southwestern Milwaukee County. Not long ago Franklin was primarily agricultural but has quickly developed into a thriving suburban community.  

Abundant in green space, the City of Franklin has sixteen city parks, eleven Milwaukee County parks, and seven parks at school sites for a total of 3,881 acres of park, open space, and outdoor recreation sites. The Milwaukee Country Sports Complex and The Rock Complex also offer year-round entertainment and activities for Franklin residents and visitors including league baseball, skiing, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and more. The Boerner Botanical Gardens, Whitnall Park & Golf Course, Root River Parkway, and Lions Legend Park Band Shell are nearby and offer additional recreation activities. 

Franklin offers excellent local schools, both public and private, with average test scores that well exceed state and national averages. Not only does Franklin pride itself on being a great place to live and raise a family, but it is also home to two of the largest employers in the Milwaukee area, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare and Northwestern Mutual.
